Here below you can find a brief description of the plant components:
1- Automatic Fast-Loop and moulds coating
The Fast-Loop manufactured by ProService uses the equipments already existing in the foundry, so as to avoid the costs linked to the change of flasks and pattern plates that, added to the plant cost, frequently compromise the possibility of paying-off the investment.
The main features of our Fast-Loop machine are:
- moulding area equipped for the sand compression;
- pattern plates preparation and fixing area;
- quick plate change;
- differentiated mould hardening areas;
- demoulding area equipped with vibrators and speed controls;
- coating area equipped with the Density Sentinel for the density automatic control.
2- Drying coating furnace
Manufactured by Comex Group, it has many different benefits, like low energy consumptions, reduced drying times in order to limit the entering of coating into the mould and complete mould drying, also in depth.
3- Sands heater - Gibson
Manufactured by Comex Group as well, it works with methane or liquid gas and is characterized by low energy costs. It carries out the “instantaneous” type sand heating.
4- Catalyst automatic dosage system
It is applied to the continuous sand mixers. The system automatically changes the dosage of the catalyst according to the sand and room temperature. In this way, there is an enormous reduction in the catalyst consumptions, with economic, qualitative and environmental advantages; furthermore, it is possible to control the times of the mould hardening.
